About the game: Animal Jam is a free game with no download for any age! You can pick an animal avatar, add accessories, decorate your den, shop, chat and hang out with buddies, and more! You can even go to parties and other jammers' dens! There's lots you can do in this virtual world. But wait, there's more! For an amount of money, you can join the club and become an exclusive member! Now you can access members-only items, switch den, adopt pets, and more! There is lots to do in this virtual world!
So thats my "ad" for Animal Jam.
When you start the game, you meet Liza, the panda alpha who greets you and shows you how to customize your animal and change its colors.
Now, one thing you should know is that there's a secret color.
Its all in the image below.
You click there, on the brown line between the purple color and the border. It may take a couple of tries, but you'll get it.
Your result should be this:
This light blue color (if you'd like it). Also, the yellow border that usually appears around one of the colors disappears!
Now, what shall you do next?
If I were you, I would choose to explore. So the next thing you should know is about items.
There is a whole class of items, from rares to betas.
The least wanted items are the ones you can buy, especially the cheap ones.
But there's one shop with very expensive items called Epic Wonders, and some jammers think the items there are beta.
Not many jammers believe this any more, so the items there will not be worth very much.
See the rare sign in the corner? That means that the item is a Monday rare. Every Monday, there is a different rare you can buy, and some of them are members only. Now is a good time to show you how the items are labeled.
Lets look at that picture again.
The yellow sign across that corner and the lock means that it's member. You see the green tag at the top? That is how many gems the item costs. Gems are the currency in Jamma. If the tag is red, then you don't have enough gems to pay for it. You can earn gems by entering codes, playing games, and doing the Daily Spin, which you get when you log in every day.
The wheel will stop at one number, and that is the amount of gems you can get. If you log in three days, your multiplier will increase to three. Three is the maximum.
There are also betas, which are items you can't buy in the shop. Some betas are from parties that happen once every year (like the halloween party). The best betas are from the "beta days", before Animal Jam was updated.
Notice the floor? Even thats beta.
In this den, all of the items are beta except for the red bird feeders. Also, betas don't have a "rare" sign. There are also some betas that are more popular and some betas that are less popular, as with rares. There are both rare and beta den items and clothing.
(I'll continue this page when I have time, so please be patient.)
